Right Now? Build action to put maximum people-pressure on COP26 happening in Glasgow, Scotland, 1-12th November 2021. There will be:

Global School Strikes Friday 24th September and Friday 5th November (Remember, Remember)! #FridaysForFuture is a youth-led and -organised movement that began in August 2018, after 15-year-old Greta Thunberg and other young activists sat in front of the Swedish parliament every schoolday for three weeks, to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis. She posted what she was doing on Instagram and Twitter and it soon went viral.

Saturday 25th September: 12 midday – Stop the Incinerator! Plymouth protest at Camels Head, junction with Wolseley Road. No to pollution, no to particulates, no to global heating emissions. Reduce and recycle, don’t burn!

Sunday 26th September: 12 midday: Nurses not Nukes: Mark the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons Plymouth protest at Camels Head, junction with Wolseley Road.

Art 4 Climate 9 hours of social gathering on Saturday 9th October at the Leadworks, 171 Rendle Street, Plymouth from 3-midnight – live music and bands, climate art, poetry, climate science presentations and talks. £5 minimum tickets, £10+ solidarity price – all to raise money for local protest and a Plymouth delegation of activists to Glasgow for the COP26 international manifestation 6th November. 

Thursday 4th November – stop the arms sales – cash for climate! Plymouth protest at midday at Camels Head, Devonport Ministry of Defence Dockyard, junction with Wolseley Road, St Budeaux, Plymouth PL2 2ED.

Friday 5th November – Plymouth youth strike 4 climate – rally in Plymouth City Centre: details to be announced.

Saturday 6th November – Plymouth protest to demand binding emissions reductions from UK government and globally! Assemble outside Plymouth Guildhall 12 midday, march through Plymouth City Centre 1pm to Rally with speakers and entrainment.
